<p>This year, the event will take place November 12, 2008, 6:30-9p at <a href="http://www.cafecircaatl.com" target="_blank">Café Circa</a> (464 Edgewood Ave. Atlanta, GA 30312).  Admission is free and there will also be complimentary hors d&#8217;oeuvres.</p>
<p>ShadowBlossom, Inc. is an Atlanta-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides sustainable, organizational capacity building support to other nonprofit organizations whose missions are focused on underserved social and health issues, but do not <span id="more-608"></span>have the resources to effectively achieve their mission.  ShadowBlossom&#8217;s mission is to engage the community and connect nonprofit organizations with one another, as well as with volunteers who will help them eliminate, increase support and resources to underserved social and health issues by bringing these causes into the limelight.</p>

<p><a href="http://blog.digitalguestlist.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/09/pf2.jpg"><img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-483" title="pf2" src="http://blog.digitalguestlist.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/09/pf2-300x207.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="207" /></a>Knowledge of the Proactive Enterprise, Inc. (KOPE) is a nonprofit offering several programs to enrich and enhance the community.  They have been the bellwether of the peace movement in Clayton County for several years.  Since launching the Peace 365 campaign in 2006, the organization has made several strides towards realizing peace in the community by reintroducing the nonviolent philosophy as an effective means of conflict resolution in the community.  In 2007, KOPE &amp; Clayton County Parks and Recreation hosted the 1st Annual Peace Fest &amp; Symposium where members of clergy, community leaders, and Clayton <span id="more-484"></span>County Government officials attended the symposium to open the dialogue regarding community wholeness.  This was capped off by special performances by the dynamic Gospel duo <em>Batiste, </em>Bad Boy recording artist, Janelle Monae, &amp; rapper Bo Hagen among several others.  KOPE has chosen September to celebrate Nonviolence Awareness and will be capped off by the 2nd Annual Clayton County Peace Fest &amp; Symposium to be held at the Virginia Gray Recreation Center on September 20, 2008.</p>
