New Features: Facebook Comment Integration & More
We’ve made four improvements to DIGITALGUESTLIST which should lead to more people attending your events! A quick description of the improvements are below:
1) Facebook Connect Comment Integration
Many of our users said they wanted to be able to talk about how awesome your event is before and after it occurs – so we added a comment box connected to Facebook for them. Now, our users can leave comments about your events and, if they are on Facebook, their comment will show up on their Facebook Wall and Live Stream.
The cool part is that their comment links back to your event page on DIGITALGUESTLIST. It is a complete viral loop! Look at the example below:
A Facebook user leaves a comment about your event on www.digitalguestlist.com…

It will appear on a his Facebook Wall…

and also his Facebook Live Stream where his friend’s will see it.

2) Weekly Event Summary Emails To Users
To remind our users to log back onto the site, we will now send them emails on Monday at Noon EST and Thursday at 10am EST to let them know new events have been posted to www.digitalguestlist.com.
3) Event Posting Reminder Emails
Of course, it is a good idea to make sure your event has been posted in advance of our summary emails. But we know you’re a busy person, so we’ll send you a simple reminder email 48 hours before the summary emails our sent to our users. You’ll have plenty of time to post your next event before people rush back to the site.
4) Event Cancellation
We hope you never have to use this, but we’ve added a cancellation feature to your Dashboard. If you have to cancel an event, simply hit “cancel” and all of your guests will be notified so they won’t show up to the venue.
