The Aftermath: Heineken Red Star Soul Concert
If you weren’t there last night, you missed one helluva show. Opera Nightclub was packed and the Heineken was free…what more could you ask for? The one and only Kenny Burns and his co-host the lovely Ms. Danella hosted the event and kept the show lively with humor, old school tracks, a Heineken keg conveniently placed on stage, and the ever-so-memorable command to “touch yo-self!’
The night began with the multi-talented Joi Gilliam receiving the Independent Acheiver Award and was immediately followed by Atlanta’s own Mr. Bryan Michael Cox. His performance was amazing! He and his band definitely brought the energy last night. Next up was London songstress Estelle. She wowed the audience with songs of life experiences wrapped in the most eclectic of beats and her signature style. Last but definitely not least was Lyfe Jennings. He performed some cuts from his latest album and showcased some of the up-and-coming talent signed to his label.
Of course the DIGITALGUESTLIST team was on the scene supplying the people at home with a live blog of the event. Congratulations goes out to Chari Brown of Columbus, GA for winning our live blog give away.
